Students used their inspiration from our field trip to create their own gingerbread houses. We had a great time listening to holiday music and snacking on some sugary treats. One student even declared it "THE BEST DAY EVER"! You can see how much fun the students had making their houses in the pictures below. Thank you for sending in the supplies to make our yummy houses.

Gingerbread House Field Trip
The kindergarten grade level took a trip to The Westin Hotel to checkout their annual Gingerbread Village. Students enjoyed looking at all of the different houses and loved having a picnic by the water.
The Book Parade
The entire school had the opportunity to participate in a book parade. Students were able dress like a character from one of their favorite books. We had Batman, Elsa, Black Widow, and a lot of Cat in the Hats. Our class had a great time making our costumes and participating in the parade.
Ottawa Farms Field Trip
Back in October the kindergarten grade level took a trip to Ottawa Farms. While there, students were able to participate in a hayride, make their way through a corn maze, take a ride down a super tall slide, watch a pig race, and much more. We had a great time, and can't wait to return in the spring to pick strawberries.
