The FUN RUN!

The class had a blast participating in our Boosterthon this year. Students had fun coming up with our class name... THE SNEETCHES! You know we had to pick something to go with our Dr. Seuss theme. I plan on having them obsessed with all things Dr. Seuss by the end of the year. Last year my students were insisting I read them "The Grinch" in May. We've already read "The Cat in The Hat" a number of times this year. Thank you to all the parents and friends that helped raise money for our school. You help make our job possible! :) 

Letter Show and Tell & Fun Friday

Students had a great time guessing the letters in their friends show and tell items. They did a great job listening to their classmates clues, and guessing the missing letters. We also had a fun time playing with some of the manipulatives in our classroom. It was a FUN Friday! 

Elmer the Elephant Fun!

Students read Elmer the Elephant as a class, and talked about the importance of standing out and being different. We may not all be exactly alike in our classroom, but that's what makes us each special and unique. It's more fun to be a brightly colored elephant! 

Hip Hip Hooray! It's the First Day of K!

September

It's crazy to think that we have already entered the month of September! We have been having a blast learning over the course of the last month. Hopefully your babies have been sharing some exciting stories related to what we are doing in the classroom. I will begin updating the blog as much as possible. You will be able to access our weekly newsletters, view updates and reminders, and will be able to see what we are working on in the classroom.
