Grinchmas Party

As you all know, Dr. Suess is my favorite author. Everything in our classroom has been inspired by the characters and stories by this quirky author. To celebrate the holiday season, it was only natural that we would turn to "How The Grinch Stole Christmas". The entire kindergarten hallway joined in the fun, and we created the most amazing Whoville. Our classroom took it a step further and dedicated an entire day to the book. Students dressed in grinchy green and Who-inspired clothes, made a special grinch inspired ornament, and ate some Who-inspired snacks. It was a fun filled day, and the perfect way to end the week before starting our holiday break.

Gingerbread Houses

Students used their inspiration from our field trip to create their own gingerbread houses. We had a great time listening to holiday music and snacking on some sugary treats. One student even declared it "THE BEST DAY EVER"! You can see how much fun the students had making their houses in the pictures below. Thank you for sending in the supplies to make our yummy houses.
